Ally Ammo, the 422nd person I’ve met on my quest to have lunch with 500 strangers, teaches a philosophy, known as the Web of Life, that she says can help us achieve total self-awareness.

The Web of Life® has eight strands – childhood and experiences; relationships and environment; energy and science; and history and beliefs.

“Since 2018 I began introducing it to people from all walks of life and its impact was instant,” Ally writes in her book, Detangling the Web of Life: The Complete Guide to Understanding YOU and Everyone Else.

“People had epiphanies, profound insights and life-altering aha moments as they could understand themselves and their lives for the first time. When anyone told me their life story I would weave their web in front of their eyes and watched with wonder as it resonated with them, as if on soul level.”

Ally has long had a fascination with human behaviour and teaching. When she was younger, she deliberated over whether to become a psychologist or a teacher. She felt learning to become a psychologist would teach her what to think whereas learning to become a teacher would teach her how to think, so she chose the latter.

Ally loved nurturing genius and creativity in her pupils, but also felt frustrated by the restrictions imposed by the public education system. And she knew she would never have the opportunity to teach the Web of Life at school.

These days, Ally is a life coach who helps people break out of harmful cycles and achieve greater self-awareness.
